About The Owner
Marla Hanson was a preschool teacher/director in Northern California for thirteen years and worked as a teacher in Marin County California for six years before moving to the Big Island. On the Big Island she worked for Head Start and then co-founded and was the co-owner of Big Island Nannies LLC which was started in January of 2001. After years of being a professional in the field of childcare she continues to offer the same valuable service to Big Island visitors through Big Island Nannies Aloha LLC. Marla is also a member of PATCH, an organization that is dedicated to the health and well being of the children of Hawaii.
